Washington Irving’s literary classic gets a modern makeover in Fox’s Sleepy Hollow. The genre thriller from Bad Robot’s Alex Kurtzman, Robert Orci and Len Wiseman was a breakout hit for Fox in its freshman season last fall, and you’ll be able to catch up before Season 2 premieres this fall by picking up the Sleepy Hollow Season 1 Blu-ray as early as September 16.
Sleepy Hollow stars Tom Mison as Ichabod Crane, a British expatriate killed during the Revolutionary War. He, along with the Headless Horseman, are revived in modern times, forcing Tom to partner with a police lieutenant (Nicole Beharie) to stop the Horseman and other dark forces at play.
The Sleepy Hollow Season 1 Blu-ray includes all 13 episodes from the inaugural season, presented in 1.78:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
