Silent Night, Deadly Night Celebrates Turning 40 with 4K UHD Debut

The classic holiday horror film Silent Night, Deadly Night turns 40 years old this year offering a perfect opportunity for Scream Factory to debut the theatrical version on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. The official release date is December 10th and pre-orders are live at Amazon.

To bring Silent Night, Deadly Night to 4K UHD, Scream Factory have completed a new 4K scan from the original camera negative and will present the film with Dolby Vision HDR. The included theatrical and uncut Blu-ray presentations will also utilize this new scan, and supported audio for both formats is DTS-HD Master Audio Mono.

Note that the uncut version is not available on 4K UHD in this set, only the theatrical version, and the uncut version will include standard definition inserts for the additional footage.

Silent Night, Deadly Night is a Collector’s Edition release that will span three discs and include all-new bonus features.
