Director Ava DuVernay’s depiction of the 1960’s Civil Rights movement in the lauded drama Selma will make its Digital HD home video debut on April 21, 2015. The Selma Blu-ray and DVD release date will come a couple weeks later on May 5, 2015.

Selma stars David Oyelowo as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and a host of other strong actors including Oprah Winfrey,  Tom Wilkinson, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Tim Roth, Common, Giovanni Ribisi, Carmen Ejogo, and Lorraine Toussaint. The film was nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards and won Best Song for the John Legend and Common tribute, ‘Glory.’
