Saw: The Complete Movie Collection Blu-ray, Digital Coming in September

Lionsgate stopped cranking out Saw films roughly four years ago and that decision opened the door for the inevitable compilation Blu-ray box set, which has taken its time materializing. A listing  at online retailer Amazon.com has finally confirmed the set’s existence and provided us with a September 23, 2014 release date for what Lionsgate is calling Saw: The Complete Movie Collection.

You have to take a stroll down memory lane to recollect how many Saw films Lionsgate produced between 2004 and 2010. The horror franchise started with Saw (2004) and then delivered annual entries with Saw II (2005), Saw III (2006), Saw IV (2007), Saw V (2008), Saw VI (2009) and Saw 3D (2010).

Saw: The Complete Movie Collection will include the unrated cuts of all seven Saw films on Blu-ray and Digital HD across three discs. It would be unfortunate if Saw 3D wasn’t presented in 3D, but that’s a possibility considering there’s no mention of 3D on the box art. If Saw 3D is on a Blu-ray 3D disc, I would expect three Saw films per-disc on the first two discs and then Saw 3D in 3D on the third disc.

The best part about Saw: The Complete Movie Collection on Blu-ray is the pre-order price at Amazon: $17.49. That works out to only $2.50 per Saw film in two formats or one of  the better Blu-ray and Digital HD compilation deals around.
