Ryan Gosling’s Lost River debuted at SXSW in March and then debuted simultaneously on Digital and theatrically in early April. A month later on May 5, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release Lost River on Blu-ray and DVD.
Christina Hendricks, Saoirse Ronan, Iain De Caestecker, Matt Smith, Reda Kateb, Barbara Steele, Eva Mendes and Ben Mendelsohn. The film is Gosling’s directorial debut and he wrote the screenplay as well.
For its disc debut, Warner is releasing Lost River as a standalone Blu-ray or DVD release. No bonus features are included.
Lost River is a dark fairy tale about love, family and the fight for survival in the face of danger. In the virtually abandoned city of Lost River, Billy (Christina Hendricks), a single mother of two, is led into a macabre underworld in her quest to save her childhood home and hold her family together. Her teenage son Bones (Iain De Casestecker) discovers a mystery about the origins of Lost River that triggers his curiosity and sets in motion an unexpected journey that will test his limits and the limits of those he loves.
