Well Go USA have announced a March 9th release date for the action thriller Russian Raid on Blu-ray, Digital and DVD.
Denis Kryuchkov’s directorial debut draws inspiration from The Raid and employs a host of Russian MMA fighters including Ivan Kotik (Dragonblade, Outcast, Legendary), Elias Antonenko (Psychos, The Legend of Kolovrat, Battle), Alexander Krasovsky (winner of the Moscow Championship and Russian Cup in hand-to-hand combat), Vladimir Mineev (world heavyweight kickboxing champion), Nikita Kologrivy, Sophya Ozerova, and Kirill Sarychev (President of the World Raw Powerlifting Federation & world record holder in the raw bench press).
No bonus features will be included on the home video release of Russian Raid. Here’s a synopsis and a trailer:
“Long after the murder of his father – a secret agent killed in a missile factory raid—former special forces operative Nikita (played by renowned stuntman Ivan Kotik) returns to Russia as a mercenary. He leads an elite team on a top-dollar heist targeting the same facility, but no one else knows his true objective is revenge.”
