Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced a May 7th release date for the 4K Ultra HD edition of director Ron Howard’s Backdraft starring Kurt Russell, Robert De Niro, William Baldwin, Donald Sutherland, Scott Glenn and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
The Backdraft 4K release is timed to coincide with the direct-to-video sequel Backdraft 2, slated for release on May 14th.
Tech specs include HDR 10 and DTS:X audio. The inclusive Blu-ray is the previously released version and will include all of these legacy bonus features:
