Arnold Schwarzenegger in ‘Red Heat’ Lands on 4K Blu-ray This October

With Arnold Schwarzenegger returning to the big screen in this fall’s Terminator: Dark Fate, Lionsgate Home Entertainment has dipped into their archives and is bringing Red Heat to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray for the first time on October 29th.

Red Heat is a crime thriller that was originally released theatrically in 1988. Schwarzenegger stars alongside James Belushi, Peter Boyle, Ed O’Ross, Laurence Fishburne, and Gina Gershon.

The Red Heat 4K presentation will feature Dolby Vision HDR. However, don’t look for Dolby Atmos audio as this disc will pack 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio instead.

Legacy bonus features carried forward on the inclusive Blu-ray are:

  • “Arnold Schwarzenegger – The Man Who Raised Hollywood” Featurette
  • “Political Context of Red Heat” Featurette
  • “East Meets West” Featurette
  • “A Stunt Man for All Seasons” Featurette
  • “I’m Not Russian, But I Play One on TV” Featurette
  • “Making of Red Heat” Featurette
  • Original Trailer
