Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced a September 13th, 2022 release date for the debut of Real Genius on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray.

Starring Val Kilmer and originally released in the 80s, the comedy Real Genius comes to 4K with a new transfer scanned from the original camera negative and presented with Dolby Vision. Director Martha Coolidge reviewed and approved this all-new 4K transfer, which is the source for the inclusive Blu-ray.
In addition, and all-new Dolby Atmos audio track is included along with the original Dolby stereo mix. Martha Coolidge approved the new Atmos track as well.
There are a couple new bonus features found on the new Blu-ray.
