Fox Home Entertainment’s first 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray new theatrical release is none other than The Peanuts Movie, arriving in stores only a week after the first wave of 4K UHD titles arrive in stores to usher a new era of high-def home entertainment.
A pre-order listing for The Peanuts Movie 4K UHD Blu-ray release has popped up at online retailer Amazon.com with a March 8th release date, the same day the film will debut on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD. Bonus features should mirror those found on the previously announced Blu-ray combo packs that also include the film on Digital HD.
Note that per the The Peanuts Movie 4K UHD Blu-ray cover art from Amazon seen below, The Peanuts Movie 4K release will not include the film in 3D or on DVD. Buyers will get to watch the animated film on Blu-ray and Digital HD in addition to 4K.
