Original ‘The Karate Kid’ 4K Blu-ray Coming for 35th Anniversary

This year marks the 35th anniversary for the original The Karate Kid starring Ralph Macchio, Noriyuki “Pat” Morita and Elisabeth Shue.

Given the milestone, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is bringing the classic out of the vault for a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray debut on April 16th.

This release is preceded by a limited theatrical run on March 31st and April 2nd that includes a sneak peek at Season 2 of the YouTube original series, Cobra Kai. Tickets will go on sale starting February 15th and can be secured right here.
