Shout! Factory and GKIDS have teamed up to bring all 26 episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion, plus both movies, to Blu-ray in multiple packages to choose from.
You’ll be able to choose from Neon Genesis Evangelion Collector’s Edition, Standard Edition and Ultimate Edition options.
The Standard Edition spans five discs with bonus features including animatics, TV commercials, music videos, and more. Its release date is first on November 2nd, 2021, and will include a Digital release alongside Blu-ray.
The Collector’s Edition set includes everything found in the standard edition along with an additional 6 discs worth of material. Housed in a rigid case, this limited edition set contains a 40-page book, 8 art cards, the Official Dub and Subtitled versions, and the bonus Classic Dub and Subtitled versions. Its bonus features span over seven hours including animatics, TV commercials, music videos, Japanese cast auditions, trailers, and more.
The Ultimate Edition is limited to 5,000 copies worldwide and is designed for the ultimate Neon Genesis Evangelion fan. In addition to including everything in the Collector’s Edition, it will also feature limited edition artwork, 156-page book, art boards, sachiel resin paperweight, and a NERV ID card with lanyard.
Expect the Collector’s Edition and Ultimate Edition Neon Genesis Evangelion sets to arrive on December 8th.
