Warner Bros. Home Entertainment are going all in on the Mad Max films in 4K this holiday season and we couldn’t be happier.
On November 2nd you’ll be able to own the Mad Max Anthology in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, including all four films in 4K. Mad Max The Road Warrior and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome will not only make their 4K debuts in this set, but will also be available to purchase individually for those who already own Mad Max and Mad Max Fury Road on 4K UHD Blu-ray.

Mad Max The Road Warrior and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome feature newly remastered transfers from the original camera negatives. The new 4K masters were overseen by the team at Motion Picture Imaging (MPI) and include HDR. Dolby Atmos audio tracks are present on both new Mad Max 4K films as well.
Additionally, the second and third Mad Max films in 4K will include a Blu-ray version that also comes from the new transfer and not from prior Blu-ray releases.
The Mad Max Anthology 4K UHD Blu-ray set will include the following legacy extras specific to Mad Max The Road Warrior.

- Road War: The Making of Road Warrior
