Lionsgate Home Entertainment has chomped into a December 30, 2014 release date for Kevin Smith’s Tusk starring Justin Long, Michael Parks, Haley Joel Osment and Genesis Rodriguez on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD. The Tusk Blu-ray release date doesn’t make Christmas, but it does fit into the holiday break window.
Tusk made its premiere at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival and was distributed domestically by A24 films. It earned $1.8 million at the box office in limited release, and will surely reach a larger audience on home video given Smith’s following and the bizarre subject matter focused on a man with an unusual affection for walruses and the unfortunate Podcaster that comes into contact with him.
The Blu-ray edition of Tusk sports a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track as well as a Digital HD copy of the film. Bonus features include the following:
