The next DC Comics original movie washes ashore in early 2015 with Aquaman leading the way. The official Justice League: Throne of Atlantis release date has been set for January 27, 2015 on Blu-ray and DVD, with the Justice League: Throne of Atlantis Digital HD release date coming a couple weeks earlier on January 13, 2015 on services like Amazon, iTunes, Xbox, PlayStation and more.
The 75-minute animated film will introduce a new threat to the relatively young Justice League that uses creatures from the earth’s oceans for nefarious means. Superman, Wonder Woman Batman and Cyborg will discover a new hero named Aquaman, and he will be the key to saving the planet.
Justice League: Throne of Atlantis will be presented in 1.78:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. As you’ll see below, Warner Bros. is continuing their trend of packing each new animated feature with a wealth of supplements.

- Villains of the Deep – From Ocean Master to Black Manta to King Shark, each villain operates from his own deep sense of conviction, presenting an incredible challenge for the hero in Arthur Curry, aka Aquaman. This documentary goes into the biographical details of the villains.
