Scream Factory has passed along some new details for the previously undated Blu-ray Collector’s Edition of John Carpenter’s Starman starring Jeff Bridges and Karen Allen.
We can confirm that the Starman Collector’s Edition Blu-ray release date is December 18th in the US and Canada. That doesn’t mean Scream Factory might shift it between now and then, but that date is the current target.
Scream Factory has also revealed that Jeff Bridges has recorded an all-new interview for the Starman Collector’s Edition Blu-ray.
Other confirmations include newly-commissioned artwork from artist The CRP Group (pictured above and below), and a guaranteed slipcover for at least the first three months of release.
If you pre-order Starman at ShoutFactory.com then you’ll receive an 18″x24″ limited edition poster of the new artwork, while supplies last. A total of 500 posters are being printed.
