John Carpenter’s original Halloween (1978) starring Jamie Lee Curtis is coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray for the first time on September 25th courtesy of Lionsgate Home Entertainment.
The Halloween 4K UHD is a combo pack with Blu-ray, but no Digital HD version is being included.
What you will get is Dolby Vision HDR, which has become a staple of Lionsgate 4K releases, as well as 7.1 Dolby TrueHD audio. A new Dolby Atmos mix was not commissioned for this release.
A selection of legacy bonus features will appear on the inclusive Halloween Blu-ray. They are:
