The Imitation Game Headed to Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD in late March

Anchor Bay Entertainment has announced plans to bring The Imitation Game starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley to Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD in March. The Imitation Game Digital HD release date falls on March 20, 2015, while the Blu-ray and DVD release date comes 11 days later on March 31.

In The Imitation Game, which received a total of eight Academy Award nominations, Cumberbatch stars as renowned mathematician Alan Turing who was recruited by the British military to help decrypt Germany’s World War II Enigma machine. Turing would later be arrested for charges of “gross indecency” due to his homosexuality, considered a crime at that time in the United Kingdom, while those who arrested him had no idea that he was essentially the father of modern computing.

Anchor Bay is releasing The Imitation Game with an exclusive Blu-ray “Q&A Highlights” bonus feature. Other extras shared with DVD include a Making Of featurette, deleted scenes and special commentary.

The Imitation Game on Blu-ray will be presented in 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio.
