Studio Ghibli and GKIDS are upping their Steelbook game by delivering Hayao Miyazaki’s Howl’s Moving Castle and Ponyo in the sturdy packaging on May 12th. Shout! Factory is handling the home video distribution.
Each Studio Ghibli film will be released as Blu-ray and DVD combo packs with eye-catching new artwork seen above. This marks the first time either film has been available in Steelbook packaging in North America.
The discs inside the packaging are identical to the most recent Blu-ray and DVD release for each film with the inclusion of new booklets with filmmaker statements and artwork.
