Universal is bringing the entirely first-person action flick Hardcore Henry to home video this summer, starting with a Digital HD release and backed by Blu-ray and DVD a few weeks later.
The Digital HD version of Hardcore Henry will be available to own or stream starting on July 12th. If you want the Hardcore Henry Blu-ray combo pack or DVD then circle July 26th on your calendar as both physical disc versions will drop on that date.
Imagine a movie shot entirely as if a GoPro camera was mounted to the protagonist’s head and that’s Hardcore Henry starring Sharlto Copley from start-to-finish. It’s designed for the generation that loves first-person shooter video games like Call of Duty, Battlefield and many others where all you see are you hands and whatever weapon is being wielded.
Hardcore Henry will be presented on Blu-ray and Digital in 1.85:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Note there is no Hardcore Henry 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release planned at this time.
