Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Hellboy’ Bound for 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in October

The original Hellboy film from Guillermo del Toro and starring Ron Perlman in the titular role is coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on October 15th. It can currently be pre-ordered at Amazon.

This release joins its sequel, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, that’s already available on 4K UHD.

The Hellboy 4K release date times with the film’s 15th anniversary this year. An all-new To Hell and Back featurette and del Toro introduction is also included in celebration of the big anniversary milestone.

Both the original theatrical cut and del Toro’s director’s cut are included in remastered 4K video from the original camera negative.

Audio options include all-new Dolby Atmos and the original 5.1 mix.
