Universal Studios Home Entertainment has revealed the home video plans for Green Book hot off the film’s three wins at this past weekend’s 2019 Golden Globe Awards.
The Green Book digital and Movies Anywhere release is set for February 19th. In an unexpected move, Universal will release Green Book on 4K Ultra HD as well as Blu-ray and DVD on March 5th.
Green Book is directed by Peter Farrelly and earned its two stars, Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali, Golden Globe nominations. Ali would win the award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, and the film also collected wins for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, and Best Screenplay.
All versions of Green Book will include the following trio of bonus features:
- Virtuoso Performances – Go behind the scenes with Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali as they discuss their characters and the lengths they went to accurately portray them.
- An Unforgettable Friendship – Cast and filmmakers discuss the friendship between Don Shirley and Tony Lip.
- Going Beyond the Green Book – Filmmakers and cast discuss the significance of The Green Book.
