Original ‘Ghost in the Shell’ Anime Getting 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Release

Lionsgate Home Entertainment is marking the 25th anniversary of the Ghost in the Shell anime movie this year by bringing the 1995 feature to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray for the first time.

The newly remastered 4K UHD presentation will feature Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio in English and Japanese, as well as the original Japanese track in 2.0 LPCM Audio.

Ghost in the Shell is based off of Shirow Masamune’s legendary manga of the same name. The voice cast includes Atsuko Tanaka, Akio Ôtsuka, and Kôichi Yamadera.
