Pre-orders have arrived as HBO’s Game of Thrones Season 8 eventual 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD release is now available to lock in at online retailer Amazon.com.
The Game of Thrones Season 8 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray pre-order is listed at $49.96. Expect this to be a combo pack with Blu-ray and Digital.
You’ll save $10 by pre-ordering the Game of Thrones Season 8 Blu-ray or DVD, which are both listed at $39.99.
Amazon also has the inevitable Game of Thrones The Complete Series Blu-ray box set up for pre-order at $249.99. This includes seasons one through eight. A 4K Ultra HD Complete Series listing has not appeared.
Amazon’s pre-order price guarantee means that if the price drops between now and the release date then the actual pre-order price paid when the item ships is the lowest it was during the pre-order period.
As for the Game of Thrones Season 8 home video release date, the soonest we’ll see it arrive is this summer in July or August. The actual release date will be passed along as soon as it has been announced by HBO and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
