It’s the 13th, a Friday, and also the 40th anniversary for the original Friday The 13th movie that started a phenomenon. Paramount Home Entertainment has cooked up a special treat for Blu-ray fans to help celebrate the milestone.
On May 5th you’ll get to hold a new Friday The 13th Blu-ray Steelbook featuring the original theatrical one-sheet artwork. That’s only four days off from the exact May 9, 1980 premiere date.
The Blu-ray will include the uncut, unrated version of the film. The original theatrical cut will be available as a digital copy.
All of the previously released bonus features are also included.
