On April 15th of this year, director Adrian Lyne’s Flashdance starring Jennifer Beals premiered and instantly became a kinetic classic with Irene Cara’s What a Feeling song becoming an instant hit. In celebration of the film’s 40th anniversary, an April 11th, 2023 release date has been chosen by Paramount Home Entertainment to debut Flashdance on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray.

Lyne oversaw the audio and video remastering of Flashdance, the efforts of which will be on not only the 4K Disc, but the Blu-ray presentation as well.
