Paramount Home Entertainment has scheduled Fences for a February 24th home video debut on Digital HD. Those of you waiting out the Blu-ray and DVD release will be able to spin those discs beginning March 14th.
Fences is nominated for several Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Actor (Denzel Washington), Best Supporting Actress (Viola Davis) and Best Adapted Screenplay (August Wilson).
Awards buzz has helped Fences breach $57 million at the worldwide box office from a modest budget of only $24 million. The film should garner additional attention should it win an Oscar or two.
The Blu-ray and Digital versions of Fences will be presented in 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Bonus features run a little over 30 minutes and include the following:

- The Company of Fences
- Building Fences: Denzel Washington
- Playing the Part: Rose Maxson
- August Wilson’s Hill District
