Sam Raimi’s deliciously entertaining sequel Evil Dead 2 starring Bruce Campbell in an unforgettable performance is getting a 4K Ultra HD release with Dolby Vision and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio on December 11th via Lionsgate Home Entertainment.
Evil Dead is a rare sequel that grew more popular than the original over time. Raimi’s blend of humor and horror are unmistakable and a benchmark for other films in the genre.
The 4K UHD disc will include an all-new featurette: Bloody and Groovy, Baby!” – A Tribute to Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead 2. That disc will also include a legacy audio commentary with writer-director Sam Raimi, actor Bruce Campbell, co-writer Scott Spiegel, and special make-up effects artist Greg Nicotero.
