John Carpenter’s Escape From L.A., the sequel to his hit Escape From New York, will be making its 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Debut on February 22nd, 2022.
The popular sequel was originally released in 1996 and once again stars Kurt Russell s anti-hero Snake Plissken.
Tech specs include Dolby Vision HDR and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. A Dolby Atmos track will not be included on this release.
In lieu of an inclusive Blu-ray Escape From L.A. buyers will get a Digital copy. The 4K disc will also include the original theatrical trailer, presumably in 4K.
