AMC’s Eli Roth’s History of Horror Season 1 will be reappearing on October 6th, 2020 with a new Blu-ray and DVD release.
This series originally aired on AMC Networks way back in 2018 as part of AMC Visionaries. Roth directs while Kurt Sayenga wrote the documentary series.
Some of the notable horror names interviewed include Stephen King, Quentin Tarantino, Greg Nicotero, Rob Zombie, Linda Blair, Slash (Guns N’ Roses), Robert Englund, Tippi Hedren (The Birds), Haley Joel Osment, Elijah Wood, and David Arquette.
There are over two hours worth of additional bonus features included on both the Blu-ray and DVD release. They feature:
- Five featurettes
- Extended interviews with Stephen King, Edgar Wright, Quentin Tarantino, Diablo Cody, Roger Corman, John Landis and Joe Dante
