Denis Villeneuve’s instant epic Dune: Part Two is officially out in theaters and expected to roughly double the opening weekend of the original with somewhere in the neighborhood of $80 million. It will also be a huge release for 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray with incredible visuals and sounds, and pre-orders are already live at Amazon for moviegoers that know they want to see it at home.
The big home video release is the Dune: Part Two 4K UHD SteelBook that you can pre-order at Amazon. The case art is stunning.
You can also pre-order Dune: Part Two on 4K UHD at Amazon as a standalone release in regular packaging, or pre-order the Dune Two-Movie 4K UHD pack if you don’t already own the original.
Dune: Part Two pre-orders are also available for Blu-ray as a standalone and Two-Movie pack.
It is way early to be guessing the Dune: Part Two 4K UHD release date. The earliest I would expect to see it is sometime shortly after Memorial Day in late May. A June or even July release date seems more likely should the sequel have box office legs that carry it well into the Spring.
