Paramount Home Entertainment have officially announced a March 21st, 2023 release date for Dragonslayer starring Peter MacNicol on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. Standard edition and Limited Edition Steelbook packages will be available. Both feature Dolby Atmos audio.

Those opting for the Dragonslayer 4K Steelbook package can expect “collectible packaging with a removable O-sleeve featuring an image of the theatrical poster, which, when removed, reveals original artwork of the final battle with Vermithrax Pejorative.”
The big news with this release is that Guillermo del Toro joined director and longtime collaborator Matthew Robbins to record an all-new commentary track that owners will get to enjoy. Robbins also oversaw the new 4K restoration that will make this Dragonslayer presentation look better than the film ever has.
Additionally, over an hour’s worth of all-new extras are included on this release.
