‘Die Hard’ 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Pops Up for Pre-Order at Amazon with a Release Date

It has been almost 30 years since Bruce Willis saved Nakatomi Plaza as John McLane in the classic thriller, Die Hard. In celebration of the film’s 30th anniversary, Fox is bringing the original Die Hard to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on May 15th.

This news doesn’t come from an official Fox announcement, though we expect to receive that any day now. It comes from a pre-order listing that has popped up at Amazon.com complete with cover art that you can check out below.

It would be nice to get some new bonus features and evidence of a new 4K remaster. Maybe we will as Fox is also releasing this new 30th anniversary edition on Blu-ray as well. If there’s going to be new bonus features then they’re going to be produced for the Blu-ray that’s inclusive with the 4K combo pack.

Here’s the Amazon Die Hard 4K pre-order page if you want to lock that in and show Fox that interest in this film in 4K is high.
