Director Peter Berg’s harrowing tale of bravery and sacrifice, Deepwater Horizon, is headed to Digital HD at the end of this year and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray with Dolby Atmos audio, Blu-ray and DVD in early 2017.
The Deepwater Horizon Digital HD release date lands just before Christmas on December 20th. Those wanting one of the physical disc formats have to wait an extra few weeks until January 10th, 2017.
Deepwater Horizon is based on the true story of the offshore oil rig of the same name that famously caught fire and was destroyed on April 20, 2010. Mark Wahlberg leads the all-star cast that also includes Kurt Russell, John Malkovich, Gina Rodriguez, Dylan O’Brien and Kate Hudson.
