It has been a few days since Amazon began taking pre-orders for Marvel’s Captain Marvel 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and Digital combo pack.
At the time I speculated that Captain Marvel starring Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson and Jude Law would soar right to the top of Amazon’s Blu-ray Bestsellers chart. Did it, or didn’t it?
Sometime over the course of the past 72 hours Captain Marvel did indeed jump right into the pole position on Amazon’s Blu-ray Bestsellers chart. It leapt over Game of Thrones Season 8, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, Aquaman and other popular titles.
The only pre-order between now and Captain Marvel’s June 11th release date for 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD that might force its way to the top spot is John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. We should be seeing that pre-order activate sometime this weekend after the Keanu Reeves sequel begins its theatrical run.
