‘But I’m a Cheerleader’ Getting Director’s Cut 4K Blu-ray Release for 20th Anniversary

This year, Jamie Babbit’s But I’m a Cheerleader celebrates its 20th anniversary. To mark the occasion, Lionsgate Home Entertainment is releasing a new home video version sure to entice fans of the cult clasic.

But I’m a Cheerleader will be receiving a remastered 4K Ultra HD release on December 8th complete with newly discovered scenes inserted into a new unrated director’s cut.

“I uncovered some amazing lost scenes that I wasn’t able to include in the original film and am so happy to see them added back into this cut,” stated Babbit in the press release. “This film is so special to me and I can’t wait for everyone to fall in love with it all over again.”
