George Clooney and Britt Robertson journey to a futuristic and opportunistic city in director Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland, the 2015 Disney magical adventure film that will make its Blu-ray, DVD, Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere (DMA) debut on October 13. A Tomorrowland Blu-ray 3D release in North America is not planned for release.
Tomorrowland hit some turbulence at the box office after being met with mixed reviews by critics. The lavish and expensive — to the tune of $190 million to produce — film has earned just over $208 million worldwide since its release earlier this year. Domestic box office numbers failed to top $100 million.
Despite the tepid box office reception, Tomorrowland should drum up quite a bit of interest on home video and in high definition. The film will be presented in 2.20:1 1080p video and 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Here’s the pre-order link followed by a host of bonus features and the cover art in high resolution.
