Blue Underground’s exemplary line of 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray releases will continue into 2021. Thus far one of the known highlights and their “biggest release yet” is The Final Countdown, a time-travel cult classic befitting a brand new presentation in 4K UHD.
Yesterday Blue Underground reaffirmed this title is on the way and narrowed down the release time frame to Spring 2021. We’ll pass along the exact release date when it’s announced in the near future.
The Final Countdown cover art was also shared and depicts the USS Nimitz about to go through the storm that sends it forward, or backward, in time. You’ll also notice the package includes a CD of presumably the soundtrack.
