Paramount Home Entertainment are adding Blue Hawaii starring Elvis Presley to their Paramount Presents line. Rather than a Blu-ray release, this new Paramount Presents entry will be in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray when it arrives on a November 15, 2022 release date.

Following the trend of previous Paramount Presents titles, Blue Hawaii has been remastered in 4K Ultra HD for its 4K and Blu-ray debut. The 4K presentation will benefit from Dolby Vision and HDR-10, while Blu-ray and Digital copies are also included.
Here is a little blurb from Paramount regarding the 4K restoration. “For the restoration, the original negative was scanned in 4K/16bit, however the opening title sequence was very grainy because it originally used duped film. That sequence was completely rebuilt using the original film elements from the Paramount library. Brand new text overlays were created for a truly spectacular opening sequence befitting this delightful film.”
New bonus content will be included on the Blu-ray Disc alongside the original theatrical trailer.
