As the sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse continues to swing its way to box office riches, Best Buy has been gobbling up pre-orders for an exclusive 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Steelbook release later this year.
That listing has recently updated to now include a September 5th, 2023 release date, which may signal an official home video announcement from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is imminent.
The expectation is that Sony will make a full announcement sometime between now and Comic-Con which kicks off late next week.
We will certainly share additional Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse home video details as they come to light. For now, draw a circle around September 5th in pencil as it could change, but has favorable odds of being the exact release date.
