Warner Bros. Home Entertainment waited unto the last minute but have finally announced an October 17th, 2023 release date for the mega-hit Barbie on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD. That’s only two weeks between the announcement and the release date.
You can pre-order the 4K UHD Blu-ray of Barbie at Amazon where it has been available for some time now.
Those opting for the Barbie 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release will get to enjoy Dolby Atmos audio for Barbie and Ken’s adventure.
The Barbie 4K and Blu-ray, but not DVD, editions will include the following collection of featurettes.
- Welcome to Barbie Land
- Becoming Barbie
- Playing Dress-Up
- Musical Make-Believe
- All-Star Barbie Party
- It’s A Weird World
Since its theatrical debut earlier this year, Barbie has earned over $1.43 billion at the global box office and is currently the 14th highest worldwide grossing movie of all-time.
Barbie is directed by Greta Gerwig and stars Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, Will Ferrell, Michael Cera, Ariana Greenblatt, and Ana Cruz Kayne, among others.
