Annabelle to Make Her Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD Debut in Early 2015

When The Conjuring was a big hit for Warner Bros., the studio opted to turn back the clock for a second installment and visit the genesis of that freaky Annabelle doll rather than go the traditional sequel route. That decision has paid itself back many times over, and now Annabelle is set to make her Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD on a January 20, 2015 release date.

Annabelle stars Annabelle Wallis, Ward Horton, Alfre Woodard, Kerry O’Malley, Brian Howe, Tony Amendola and Eric Ladin, but the real star of the film and draw for moviegoers is the creepy doll. It was produced for roughly $6.5 million and has earned $83.6 million at the domestic box office to date. Factor in overseas business and Annabelle is the hottest demonic doll since Chucky with $244.1 million in gross earnings.

The Blu-ray edition of Annabelle comes packaged with DVD and Digital HD, and will be presented in 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Bonus features are as follows, and only the first featurette is available on the standalone DVD edition:

  • The Curse of Annabelle
  • Bloody Tears of Possession
  • Dolls of the Demon
  • A Demonic Process
  • Deleted Scenes
