Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced places to bring American Ultra starring Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart to Digital HD on November 10th, followed by the American Ultra Blu-ray and DVD release date on November 24th.
Eisenberg and Stewart shed any previous typecasting to play a couple slackers-turned-human-weapons who leave a path of destruction in their trail. The film made over $15.4 million at the North American box office and should prove a fun romp on high definition home video.
American Ultra on Blu-ray will feature DTS:X audio and 1080p video. Like Dolby Atmos, DTS:X is a newer format that can be decoded by any receiver that decodes DTS-HD Master Audio, which is just about any receiver available at retail today.
