AMC’s horror anthology series The Terror Season 1 is coming to Blu-ray and DVD on August 21st.
The Terror is based on Captain Sir John Franklin’s lost expedition in the late 1800’s where he and his Royal Navy crew ventured into uncharted territory in an attempt to discover the Northwest Passage. What they find is a vicious monster intent on hunting them all down.
Starring in The Terror Season 1 are Jared Harris, Ciaran Hinds, Tobias Menzies, Paul Ready and Adam Nagaitis. A second season has already been ordered and will be set during World War II and focus around a specter that haunts a Japanese internment camp. It’s unknown whether the same cast will play different roles or whether new actors will be brought in.
