Amadeus to Rock 4K UHD on February 25th

Director Milos Forman’s 1984 critically acclaimed and 8 Academy Award-winning film Amadeus turned 40 last Fall and Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment will mark the anniversary by remastering the biographical drama for 4K Ultra HD physical media and Digital. Both formats share a February 25th, 2025 release date.

The Amadeus 4K UHD debut will strictly feature the theatrical cut and not the controversial extended cut.

Per WBDHE, “The restoration and mastering of the Amadeus original theatrical cut was completed by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences with the participation of Paul Zaentz.”

One legacy and one all-new bonus feature will be included:

  • Amadeus: The Making of a Masterpiece

Starring in Amadeus are F. Murray Abraham, Tom Hulce, Elizabeth Berridge, Simon Callow, Roy Dotrice, Christine Ebersole, Jeffrey Jones, and Charles Kay.
