Aliens 30th Anniversary Blu-ray Coming in September

Fox Home Entertainment has announced an Aliens 30th Anniversary Blu-ray release in conjunction with the recently wrapped San Diego Comic-Con, as first reported by EW.

Most fans of James Cameron’s Aliens already own a copy of the film on Blu-ray. The spectacular Alien Quadrilogy box set has been affordable for a couple years, and Aliens has already been available as a standalone Blu-ray release.

The Aliens 30th Anniversary Blu-ray will include an all-new interview with James Cameron on the design and inspiration for the film. It will also feature a commentary track and all the previously release deleted and extended scenes.

Best of all, it won’t matter if you’re a fan of the theatrical or special edition version as both will be included in the package.

Physical goodies include the Aliens 30th Anniversary Blu-ray package include collectible art cards with James Cameron concept sketches by Cameron and a book with art from the Dark Horse Comics Aliens series.

The Aliens 30th Anniversary Blu-ray is set for release on September 13th and you can pre-order it right now for under $18 at Amazon.com.

Fox stopped short of unveiling an Aliens 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release. With Alien: Covenant currently in production, a massive Alien 4K UHD Blu-ray box set may already be in the works.
