Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is meeting the demand for more material from Bradley Cooper’s A Star is Born starring Lady Gaga with a new Encore Edition coming to Blu-ray with Dolby Atmos and Digital on June 4th.
An inclusive DVD includes the theatrical edition and previously released extras. However, A Star is Born Encore will not be released on DVD or 4K Ultra HD.
The A Star is Born Encore Edition features nearly 12 minute of extended footage edited back into the film. That footage features longer takes of the performances “Black Eyes,” “Alibi,” and “Shallow.”
All-new singing performances included in the 12 minutes are Ally singing to Jack “Is That Alright?” in the wedding sequence, Jack in his studio singing “Too Far Gone,” Jack and Ally writing a new song together, entitled “Clover.”
Other scenes have been extended to round out the Encore Edition’s new footage.
