Yesterday Lucasfilm and Disney unveiled their first Bonus Bounty collection of new product announcements for 2022. In the announcement is the return of Hasbro’s Star Wars Black Series Boba Fett (Prototype Armor) figure in new modern packaging.

This figure was originally released in the Black Series 6″ figure line over 6 years ago. With the Disney+ series The Book of Boba Fett now airing, it made sense for Hasbro to bring it back.
George Lucas and Lucasfilm originally envisioned Boba Fett’s armor as all-white and part of a squad of super troopers. That idea would eventually evolve into a more colored palette and individual character.
Hasbro’s latest release of this figure features new The Empire Strikes Back packaging with mural artwork on the side connecting to other figures in TESB Black Series line.
