A galaxy far, far away under the oppression of Imperial rule can be a dangerous place for a young man. That is, unless the young man has grown up to fend for himself and has no love for the Empire.
Another sneak peek at Star Wars Rebels and further introduction to Ezra comes in the form of a short titled, ‘Not What You Think.’ Ezra, for those new to the characters, is a young man who lives on the planet Lothal that has recently been occupied by the Empire. Ezra steals in order to survive, and the Empire is an easy target for this suave pickpocket.
In ‘Not What You Think,’ Ezra comes across a downed Tie Fighter whose pilot has survived the crash. Under the guise of assistance, Ezra effectively robs the pilot of a couple gadgets from his craft as well as his helmet. The pilot, being the Imperial snob he is, tries to kill Ezra and discovers the boy is faster than he should be.
Star Wars Rebels: Spark of the Rebellion, the one-hour premiere special, debuts Friday, October 3 at 9/8c on Disney Channel.
