The latest fan-made recreation of a Hollywood production is a Lego The Walking Dead Season 5 trailer that once again proves everything truly is better when constructed and animated with colorful Lego bricks.
This shot-for-shot remake of AMC’s The Walking Dead Season 5 trailer that debuted at Comic-Con last month is complete with victim blood, zombies, and visual effects, all filmed in a stop-motion style. The frame rate isn’t all that high, but then again, does it need to be? We’re talking stop-motion Legos, not live action.
Pay close attention to the outfits that the minifigure doppleganger versions of Rick, Michonne, etc. are wearing in the Lego The Walking Dead Season 5 trailer. They don’t look like run-of-the-mill Lego torsos culled from random Lego City building sets. In fact, they appear to be custom printed for the sake of shooting the trailer. If that’s the case then bravo, well done YouTube creator kristo499.
